Marjorie Jobe, Author, Speaker and Attorney
An active and experienced attorney representing businesses and business owners, Marjorie is passionate about protecting companies from legal threats and abuses. She is known for her attention to detail and persistence in advocating for her clients. Inspired by her law practice experiences and professional frustrations, Marjorie wrote Business Law Battle Plan for Entrepreneurs: Protect Your Company from Lawsuits, Lawyers and Legal Disasters in 2008 as a way of helping businesses, executives and owners. Her hope is that the book will empower readers to implement a plan for their own legal protection.
Marjorie has been licensed since 1987 and owns a small firm in El Paso, Texas. She has experience in courts of all levels and has participated in multiple major jury trials, civil and criminal, in Texas and Missouri. Additionally, Marjorie taught Business Law to upper level students in the College of Business at the University of Texas – El Paso and she taught Political Science to students at the El Paso Community College.
